The Centre for Medical Education in Context (CenMEDIC) is dedicated to using knowledge and skills to support the development of medical education that is sensitive to context and to local needs and conditions.  CenMEDIC was formerly The Open University Centre for Education in Medicine (OUCEM).

ECFMG strives to improve world health through excellence in medical education. ECFMG serves international physicians, members of the medical education and regulatory communities, health care consumers, and those researching issues in medical education and health workforce planning.

The International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) is one the largest international student organizations and aims to serve medical students all over the world. Currently, the IFMSA represents 1.2 million medical students through its 103 national member organizations.

It is through this dialogue that the world can achieve global visions of sustainable development encompassing observance of human rights, mutual respect and the alleviation of poverty, all of which are at the heart of UNESCO'S mission and activities.

The World Health Organisation, WHO, is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system.  It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.

The World Medical Association (WMA) is the independent global confederation of free professional associations created to ensure the independence of physicians, and to work for the highest possible standards of ethical behaviour and care by physicians, at all times.
